An understated, abstract art headband / face covering: Modern art on the go!

If you love something, set it free, but also, wear it!

Wearable art is a fun, accessible lifestyle element that brings me joy. I think of it as portable art for occasions when I venture out into the world, but also to enjoy when staying in. It’s the reason I began creating products featuring some of my fine art photographs, including totes, tees and baby onesies available in my online store.

But back to these elegantly versatile abstract art headbands: Shown here is one of several created by fine artist Janet Taylor. This one in soft shades of grey is called Wave Moonlight.  I’m liking a dose of true modern in this modern farmhouse home office picture for my 3/10/21 blog post. Since it was hard to decide on just one artsy headband, I also purchased Spray Sea which is all about blue.  I love these wide headbands because they’re cozy to wear around my neck and they’re a super convenient face covering “at the ready” when I need to dash into a store during this pandemic.  Furthermore, when worn as a headband they add instant contemporary style.  See all of Janet Taylor Art’s headband options on her website. And, if you’re curious to learn how Janet translated her paintings into wearable art, you can read about her process here.

As always, thanks for stopping by.
