'Siggy' fine art photograph: Accepted at two juried art shows

Last week I learned that my photograph Siggy was accepted to not one, but to two juried art exhibits! I’m very excited that Siggy is being well received by some members of the art community - she is a delight of a sheep, and I really enjoyed taking her portrait.

The first show is at the Indiana University Kokomo Downtown Gallery, in Kokomo, Indiana, where Siggy was selected to be part of The Elephant in the Room exhibition from April 3, 2020 to April 24, 2020. The Elephant in the Room is an art show about exploring relationships and dependencies between humans and animals. You can read more about this international exhibition here.

The second event is the Juried Art Show, 2020 at the Rocky Mount Imperial Arts Centre in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. According to the juror, this year saw a record number of entries, making it all the more special to be invited to participate. The Juried Art Show will be on view from May 1, 2020 to August 16, 2020, and you can find additional details on the Rocky Mount Arts Center website.
