Picture frame or magic secret cabinet?
Friends and neighbors of ours here in Livermore, Lindsy and Brian, just finished a major master bathroom renovation. The work took 3+ months and the end result is a dramatic upgrade. Gone are the honey-colored oak cabinets and run-of-the-mill travertine floor.
Lindsy reached out to order an 11x14” print of Big Sur Waves, Mist and Clouds to feature in the space. The project aesthetic led by Enotive Design Group is modern with clean lines, and the new medicine cabinet has a clever picture frame front as opposed to a standard mirror. I really like the fact that it’s a frame with a hidden function and can act as a secret stash spot (sorry, snooping guests).
Displaying an image about water ~ in this case, a view of the edge of the Pacific Ocean ~ as art in a bathroom makes so much sense.. Water is restorative, and this print sets a lovely ambiance at the start and end of one’s day.
