The tender story behind ‘Easter Eve’

An early image in my Abandoned series, Easter Eve is about not being welcome to visit my mom at her home for the first time ever. At 53 years old I’d visited my mom at over 40 of her addresses and always felt a coming home and a belonging. This time my step-dad’s anger and personality disorder ruled over my brief time in California.
